Yes, if there is no objection from the other party. As withlawyer, your assistant is present to help you fully understand what takes place and what is discussed in the mediation session. Your representative (lawyer or non-lawyer) does not speak for you. Mediation is not court. Each party must present their own ‘case’ and clearly define their position and interests.
